My wife and I were camping in the ONP and headed into Port Angeles for food followed by hiking at Hurricane Ridge. We parked on the side of a road to Yelp for breakfast ideas. Turns out that we happened to park in front of Coburn's. After reading the one stellar review, we decided to give it a shot. Wow! Not disappointed in the least. It's true that it doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's what is on the inside that counts. The decor is kitchy, but fitting. My wife especially loved the blue lacy bathroom. I ordered the Coburn's Special (biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs), my wife got the Mini Special (bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast). Moments after placing our order, we overheard a local couple request gravy on their hash browns. We both said aloud, "you can do that!?". At which point I ran to my waiter and requested the gravy for my wife's hash browns. Our food was received in about 10 minutes and hot off the griddle. The gravy hash browns were amazing. My wife had to defend them with her butter knife and fork. I did manage to get a few fork fulls, despite her best efforts. We left happy and raving about how this was the most satisfying (and affordable) meal since we started our 2 week tour of the PNW. We loved it so much that we hit it up the very next morning as we left WA for Canada. This time we both ordered the Mini Special with gravy so as to avoid any fork stabbings. TL;DR -- eat here and order gravy on your hash browns!! This place will not disappoint.

Stopped by here en route to Forks for the "best brunch in Port Angeles." Eh, I don't think it was the best, but it was okay. Inside is pretty small but actually has quite a few tables. Looks like it's full of regulars. There's also counter seating. Decor is pretty country and old. Lots of fake flowers in vases. Got the monte cristo sandwich for brunch. It was a generous portion but a bit too eggy and moist. Otherwise, I thought it was pretty good with the dusted powdered sugar. Came with a side of french fries. Prices were reasonable, and the service was great. It's a few streets up from the main Port Angeles area near the water, so you may miss it. But, there's plenty of parking out front.

Stopped in on Sunday morning for breakfast before heading back to Seattle from my performance. I had the chicken fried steak with 2 eggs. The portions were large, food was tasty, and the atmosphere was cozy and like home. If they could've been a little faster that would've awesome. To their credit, the place was hopping for 8am on a Sunday so that might have something to do with it. Overall, I enjoyed my stop over and will be coming back the next time I'm up that way.

This place is great! You wouldn't think so from the outside, but you must try the food! Plus the staff was very friendly. Wish I had found this place sooner.

Nothing special about this restaurant. Food quality and preparation, service and ambiance are just average. Ate there once and have no desire to return as better options exist
